Pear honey drink 蜜糖雪梨水

Do you have the urge to reach for that pitcher of water and glug it all in one go? The mouth is so dry, water alone doesn’t quench your bottomless thirst? That is when Asian pears come into play. Peel them, de-seed them, and cut them up in chunks. Throw them in a pot with some water then boil for a good 10 to 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the pear steep in the water. Serve the liquid as well as the pear chunks (which should have turned translucent at this point) at any temperature you prefer with honey to taste.
